It Was Not Meant to Be

Trebor stares out the window and wonders if he’ll ever see her again. Probably not and the irrational grief that he let the perfect girl for him walk away overcomes him and he briefly panics that he’ll never meet anybody and die alone. At least he gave it his all. He then looks out the window and sees a jogger trip and fall and laughs to himself.

Trebor exits the bus and walks along the park to his home. He looks over and sees a cute girl, named Yesenia, that he went to his middle school with, holding birthday balloons. She was considered to be a popular girl and he never seemed to come up with a good enough reason to talk to her.

What should Trebor do?
