Walk Home
I don’t believe in Pennywise and I’m way too paranoid, Trebor thinks. But this is the way people think in the movies too. They always believe that these things are impossible and then they happen. Trebor talks himself into walking home.
Walking home, though, is longer than he expected. It’s not longer than the estimated time, but he’s never appreciated the speed of the bus till this very moment. He looks back and sees no bus.
The walk takes nearly an hour but ends with a payoff at the park near his home. He looks over and sees a cute girl, named Yesenia, that he went to his middle school with, holding birthday balloons. She was considered to be a popular girl and he never seemed to come up with a good enough reason to talk to her.
What should Trebor do?
